Open Swim x Bluetits x Outside In

For this special one off session we will have Sian Richardson, founder of the Bluetits, joining us to lead a midday cold water swim at Sale Waterpark in Manchester, home of Openswim UK.

Following her evening talk for Outside In on Thursday 8th February, we welcome swimmers of all experience to join us. Whether it's your first dip in open water, or you're a seasoned chill swimmer.

Sian and the Open Swim team will be available to provide advice and help to anyone who needs it, as well as keeping everyone safe and well.

Please meet at our swim building at the far end of the carpark, down by the water, by 12 noon.

There is a changing room and cafe at the site. Parking is available, or Sale Water Park tram stop is a 10 minute walk away.

Kit list:

Something you feel comfortable swimming in, be it a swimming costume or a wetsuit

A brightly coloured hat or tow float

A Towel

Warm layers for afterwards

A flask

If possible water shoes (just something for your feet, like crocs!)
